سفير الاتحاد الأوروبي لدى اليمن يزور مؤسسة صلة للتنمية ويبحث مع إدارتها تعزيز الشراكة والمشاريع المشتركة

استقبل المدير التنفيذي لمؤسسة صلة للتنمية الأستاذ علي حسن باشماخ، اليوم، في مقر المؤسسة بمدينة المكلا، بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي برئاسة سعادة السفير باتريك سيمونيت، سفير الاتحاد الأوروبي لدى اليمن.

وخلال اللقاء، جرى بحث أوجه تعزيز الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين مؤسسة صلة للتنمية والاتحاد الأوروبي، واستعراض المشاريع المشتركة بين الجانبين، وفي مقدمتها مشروع MOVE الذي تم تدشينه في أكتوبر 2025م، إلى جانب عدد من المشاريع التنموية والاستراتيجية الأخرى.

كما ناقش اللقاء آفاق التعاون المستقبلي بين الطرفين، وسبل تطويره بما يسهم في تعظيم الأثر الإنساني والتنموي للمشاريع المشتركة، وتعزيز فرص الاستدامة في القطاعات الحيوية التي تخدم المجتمع اليمني.

وأشاد السفير باتريك سيمونيت بالدور الريادي الذي تقوم به مؤسسة صلة للتنمية في تنفيذ المشاريع الإنسانية والتنموية بمختلف المجالات، مؤكدًا حرص الاتحاد الأوروبي على تعزيز الشراكات الفاعلة مع المؤسسات الوطنية التي تمتلك الخبرة والقدرة على إحداث أثر ملموس في المجتمع.

من جانبه، رحّب المدير التنفيذي لمؤسسة صلة للتنمية الأستاذ علي حسن باشماخ بوفد الاتحاد الأوروبي، مثمنًا جهود الاتحاد ودعمه للمبادرات التنموية، ومؤكدًا أن المؤسسة ماضية في توسيع شراكاتها الدولية لخدمة المجتمعات المحلية وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة.

وفي ختام اللقاء، منحت مؤسسة صلة للتنمية درع المؤسسة لسعادة السفير باتريك سيمونيت، تقديرًا لدور الاتحاد الأوروبي البارز وجهوده المتواصلة في دعم البرامج والمشاريع التنموية في اليمن.

الأستاذ خالد باخريصة – مختص الشراكات بالمؤسسة، والأستاذة منى العماري –مديرة مشروع MOVE، إلى جانب عدد من مديري الإدارات في مؤسسة صلة للتنمية.
EU Ambassador to Yemen Visits Selah Foundation for Development and Discusses Strengthening Partnership and Joint Projects

The Executive Director of Selah Foundation for Development, Mr. Ali Hassan Ba-shammakh, today received a delegation from the European Union, headed by H.E. Patrick Simonnet, the EU Ambassador to Yemen, at the Foundation’s headquarters in the city of Mukalla.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance the strategic partnership between Selah Foundation for Development and the European Union, and reviewed their joint projects, foremost among them the MOVE Project, which was launched in October 2025, along with several other developmental and strategic initiatives.

The meeting also addressed prospects for future cooperation and means of further developing it in a way that maximizes the humanitarian and developmental impact of their joint projects and promotes sustainability in vital sectors serving the Yemeni community.

Ambassador Patrick Simonnet praised the pioneering role of Selah Foundation for Development in implementing humanitarian and development projects across various sectors, affirming the EU’s commitment to strengthening effective partnerships with national institutions that possess the expertise and capacity to create tangible impact in society.

For his part, the Executive Director of Selah Foundation for Development, Mr. Ali Hassan Ba-shammakh, welcomed the EU delegation, expressing appreciation for the EU’s support of development initiatives, and affirming that the Foundation continues to expand its international partnerships to serve local communities and achieve sustainable development.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Selah Foundation for Development presented a commemorative shield to Ambassador Patrick Simonnet, in recognition of the EU’s distinguished role and continued efforts in supporting developmental programs and projects in Yemen.

along with several department directors of Selah Foundation for Development.
